Here at Judah Avenue, we not only get the privilege of being a part of a couple’s perfect day, we also get the wonderful opportunity to watch a family eagerly anticipate and welcome a newborn into their family.
We were beyond thrilled when this mama and her husband came to us to document their excitement as they awaited the arrival of baby A. You can see the excitement all over our mom-to-be’s face as she elegantly poses in her beautiful lace dress. I remember how she walked in with such beautiful energy, rocking the show in

her white outfit first, then after a quick change she stepped out looking like a movie star in the black lace. Our glowing mom clearly doesn’t need to be in Hollywood to be the star of the show, and we took every opportunity to capture the moment. It doesn’t matter what this gorgeous lady wears, whether the stunning lace or the captivating blue – she looks like a goddess in anything.

There are few things more beautiful in this world than the silhouette of a mother awaiting the arrival of her baby, and we worked hard to ensure we captured the moment with the same level of beauty that naturally shines through this young mother.

Then the big day arrived, and baby A was welcomed into the family like the prince he is. He might not need those glasses, but he certainly looks like a smart little scholar when he has them on! They’re perfect for reading those books he’s sure to fall in love with.

We were certain to get a shot of both him and his mother, then him and his father – he looks so much like both his parents, and they are clearly very proud. As maternity and newborn photographers, we love the moment we get to snap a photo of the entire family together for the first time, and this moment was truly special.

You can see the love that shines through both parents as baby is wrapped in her husband’s arms holding their little child in her own. This day is one of the biggest days in this young family’s life, and we are thrilled we got to be a part of it.
