Baby Viv’s Birth Photos: Maryland Birth Photographer Holy Cross Hospital

I never thought I would have the courage to share these photos, though I find myself marveling at them almost every day. It is possible that a woman will never feel or look worse in her life than when she has just gone through the throes of labor, but the wonder of a new baby replaces these low spirits. As the days go by, both parents will probably go through several riotous emotions but, that initial wonder of meeting your child for the first time will never be lost in these photos. Every time I look at my baby girl I’m flooded with those same indescribable feelings…and when I look at these photos, I remember that the magic actually happened.
