Hanifa and Victor’s wedding day was layered with intention, heritage, and years of friendship. They began the morning at the Cambria Hotel Rockville, surrounded by their closest family and friends. The atmosphere felt personal from the start. Having worked with Hanifa for years through her planning company, Hani’s Touch Events, being part of her own wedding day felt less like work and more like showing up for family.
Their ceremony took place on the rooftop level of VisArts. With the open sky above them, Hanifa and Victor exchanged vows in a setting that was both modern and intimate. Their hashtag, #HaViEverAfter, was woven throughout the celebration and perfectly captured the joy of the day. 
The reception took place in the Buchanan Room at VisArts, where guests gathered for an evening filled with meaningful toasts, cultural traditions, and nonstop dancing. Every detail reflected Hanifa and Victor’s vision, blending elegance with vibrant celebration in a way that felt both intentional and deeply personal.
In addition to her white wedding gown, she changed into two striking looks that transformed the energy of the reception.
One was a bold red gown paired with layered coral beads, a look that carried both strength and grace as she danced surrounded by her bridal party. Later, she wore a gold and black ensemble, complete with a statement headpiece and fan, radiating confidence and celebration as she made her entrance. Seeing traditions celebrated so beautifully is always a reminder of what makes weddings meaningful.
